YOUR ROLE

You will lead the structured development and expansion of our business relationships and international product/market segments in the water circularity sector. You will be significantly involved in the development of our marketing strategies and future technologies and lead projects to implement our technologies to solve customers’ sustainability challenges:

  • You will conduct continuous market observations and analyses to derive product requirements and application management
  • You will develop market strategies to open up new product/market segments
  • You will build business with existing customers and develop new customers through structured market development
  • You will build a community for the “water circular economy” and be close to potential customers for our technologies.
  • You will build a project pipeline and identify new leads
  • You will analyze the (waste)water problem together with the customer and develop solution concepts through to implementation
  • You will independently conduct contract negotiations and successfully conclude contracts
  • You will always keep your acquisition goals in mind and support the customer holistically through pre- and after-sales activities
  • You will conduct workshops and represent Green Ocean’s vision and technologies at conferences and trade fairs
  • You are passionate about interdisciplinary problems and you will work with our partners to close the loop to water circularity

YOUR PROFILE

    • Technical training (m/f/d) or Bachelor’s / Master’s degree (m/f/d) in chemical engineering, water science, chemical process engineering, or equivalent qualification
    • Knowledge of wastewater constituents, chemistry, chemical reaction engineering, and the legal framework for wastewater treatment
    • At least 2 years of relevant experience in project acquisition / market segmentation / business development in (waste)water treatment
    • Strong customer and service orientation, i.e., proactive approach, skill in recognizing and dealing with key people and mentalities, as well as identifying customer needs in globally oriented corporate structures
    • Persuasiveness through a competent and trustworthy demeanor
    • Customer-oriented mastery of modern communication and presentation techniques
    • Analytical thinking and the ability to transfer knowledge to new application areas
    • Dedicated, Flexible, conscientious, and collaborative working style
    • Goal-oriented thinking and action
    • Willingness to travel internationally (c.30%) and strong intercultural skills
    • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
