WASTEWATER PROBLEM
  • Heavily and non-biodegradable substances in the waste sludge lead to disturbances and poisoning of the microorganisms in the aerobic and anaerobic phase in the sewage treatment plant operation
  • Waste sludge contains inter alia emulsifiers, dispersants, dyes and metabolites
  • Waste sludge with dry matter content of c.2%
  • COD concentration c.11’000 mg O2/l
  • Non-biodegradable (BSB5 / CSB <0,1)

  • Objective: High biocompatibility of the residual load with clear water suitable for fertilizer purposes through partial oxidation
